I was very surprise to see actor karthik when I went to the theatre. About Movie, This movie is about the expenditure. The story was the expenditure of Missing Andrea’s father (Prathap pothan) and Missing pandian statues, which is consider as the assistors god. As they are on the way to expenditure they have to cross 7 traps like serpants, sea, kaattuvasis etc which they need to cross to go to the main place. The team was well aware of the problems and risks about the place they are travelling. The first half is superb. In second half the king sholan(parthiban) took the credits. He acted superbly along with reema sen. Overall the movie was good, excellent and superb.

The World Bank to lend more money to india

The World Bank Group president Robert Zoellick met finance minister Pranab Mukherjee. Mr Zoellick is in India on a four-day visit meeting key leaders including prime minister Manmohan Singh, finance minister Pranab Mukherjee and several other members of the Union Cabinet. He will also meet the CEOs of leading private sector companies.

Mr Mukherjee appreciated the World Bank for its increased lending in the wake of the world financial crisis. At the meeting, Mr Zoellick sought India’s support in widening the capital base of the World Bank so that it could appropriately meet the needs of development finance. The request came after India agreed to invest $10 billion from its reserves to supplement the International Monetary Fund resources. Mr Mukherjee said India has been at the forefront of providing greater capital support to all the multilateral development institutions.

Robert Zoellick on official statement said that the average commitment during the last four financial years from the World Bank has been approximately $2.3 billion. However, in the current year, the commitments are expected to reach about $7 billion.

Mr Zoellick said up to $18 billion will be provided over the next three years by International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, $5-6 billion by International Development Assistance and $3.5 billion by International Finance Corporation.

H1N1 influenza vaccine will be available around the country next month

H1N1 influenza(swine flu) Vaccine will be distributed on a three day turn around time from four regional warehouses around the country next month. The vaccine deliveries are expected to equal 20 million doses a week by the end of October, will be distributed among 90,000 immunization providers including health departments, hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices and pharmacies. This is a huge logistical process.

All of the H1N1 vaccine will be divided among states and territories on the basis of population. Providers including private companies such as pharmacies, will get it free. States will put in orders based on the need in their jurisdictions and the number of doses that hospitals, clinics and other providers say they can use in the immediate future. Orders will be filled in three business days and the vaccine shipped overnight.

Government planners expect demand for vaccine will outstrip supply in the first weeks after it becomes available. During that time, states will have to decide which hospitals, clinics and offices are most apt to reach the priority populations and thus should get vaccine first.

The scientists demonstrate the ability to decode a person’s preference for one of two drinks with 80 per cent accuracy by measuring the intensity of near infrared light absorbed in brain tissue.

This new technique that uses infrared light brain imaging to decode preference with the goal of ultimately opening the world of choice to children who can’t speak or move.

“This is the first system that decodes preference naturally from spontaneous thoughts,”
After teaching the computer to recognize the unique pattern of brain activity associated with preference for each subject, the researchers accurately predicted which drink the participants liked best 80 per cent of the time.

Most brain-computer interfaces designed to read thoughts require training.
Wearing a headband fitted with fibre-optics that emit light into the pre-frontal cortex of the brain, they were shown two drinks on a computer monitor, one after the other, and asked to make a mental decision about which they liked more. “When your brain is active, the oxygen in your blood increases and depending on the concentration, it absorbs more or less light.”

Researched by Patricia Greenfield, UCLA distinguished professor of psychology and director of the Children’s Digital Media Center, Los Angeles.

“If we want to develop a variety of skills, we need a balanced media diet. Each medium has costs and benefits in terms of what skills each develops.”

Among the studies Greenfield analyzed was a classroom study showing that students who were given access to the Internet during class and were encouraged to use it during lectures did not process what the speaker said as well as students who did not have Internet access. When students were tested after class lectures, those who did not have Internet access performed better than those who did.

More than 85 percent of video games contain violence, one study found, and multiple studies of violent media games have shown that they can produce many negative effects, including aggressive behavior and desensitization to real-life violence, Greenfield said in summarizing the findings.

In another study, Video game skill predicted laparoscopic surgery skills, Greenfield said. “The best video game players made 47 percent fewer errors and performed 39 percent faster in laparoscopic tasks than the worst video game players.”

Visual intelligence has been rising globally for 50 years. Greenfield believes much of this change is related to our increased use of technology, as well as other factors, including increased levels of formal education, improved nutrition, smaller families and increased societal complexity, etc.

Wow $10 laptop unveiled yesterday? Yeah, it’s not a laptop. I’ve been reading conflicting information about this device for the past few months. Sometimes it’s supposed to cost $10, sometimes $100. And sometimes it’s called a laptop while other times it had been referred to as a portable computer, which isn’t necessarily the same thing as a laptop. Now that the first image of the device has popped up online, the picture is becoming a bit more clear. As I predicted last week, there’s no keyboard or CPU. The box is a portable device that’s about 10 inches by 5 inches, and which can store information. You can access that info from a full fledged computer. It sounds to me like this is a glorified USB flash drive, but it’s also supposed to be able to let users connect to the computer, so I’m guessing there’s some sort of processor in there. The price right now is being pegged at closer to $30 than $10, but the goal is to bring the cost down so that the Sakshat doesn’t cost much more than a textbook. You know, unless you also want to plug in a monitor and keyboard.

The verdict was given:Nayantara Banned from Kollywood

Nayanthara, the top heroine of south India, has been banned by Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) and Nadigar Sangam from acting in any further Tamil movies.

The verdict was given on hearing the complaint made by the producer of 'Paiyaa' against Nayantara following the latter failing to pay back the advance amount even after backing out from the project. Sources from TFPC say that both the organizations were forced to put a ban on her for refusing to pay back producer and director Lingusamy the advance money.

The TFPC and Nadigar Sangam have said in no uncertain terms to its members, the producers, not to sign her for any future films. In their statement they have requested the producers association in other languages also to cooperate with them in not signing the actress for any further films.

Nayantara however, remained unperturbed. She has reportedly said to a journalist that it was true that she got the money and that she refused to pay it back. She says she has her own reasons for doing so and that she was not given a chance to put forth her argument before the organizations.

Yesterday I went to see padikathavan Movie with my cousin brother and also with my friends. i had a pleasant surprise went i entered the theater . i saw some my school friends Duraishankar, kasi, saidinakar, puva... we had a nice chat and went to see the movie.

About the movie: The movie was full and full entertainment.

About the first half, it is full and full comedy. the dialog was very touchy for youth.. especially the dhanush saying about the record, books,.....etc degree.

The romance scene was good. The second half is full and full vivek who takes the film to next level.. this was his tremendous performance after some years. comedy scene is awesome. i like them both dhanush and vivek they have put together a wonderful entertainment movie.

My rating for movie:

Because of vivek and dhanush comedy i give 3/5

verdict: Nice comedy entertainment..

Villu is Prabhu Deva’s version of the Hindi box office hit Soldier. if Prabhu Deva made a good adaptation of Soldier things would’ve been any better. Prabhu Deva has successfully made the army operations appear as if it were a one man attempt.

Vadivelu’s unimaginative comedy track has absolutely no connection with the movie’s main plot.but, it serves as a saving grace for the movie in many instances.

Nayan’s presence serves the purpose of eye candy. Villu’s story is reminiscent of the pre-historic Tamil cinema formulas such as son taking revenge over his father’s killers to satiate his mother’s wishes. And of course, there is time for love, double crossing, comedy and some sentiments . Ravi Varman’s cinematography appear hazed even in the foreign locales. but vijay’s stylish new look help a lot.

If you missed the event on Monday night, Tuesday you’ll get another chance at it. Even if slightly dimmer in luminance, the astronomical display will be visible that night one hour after sunset in the direction of southwest near the horizon.

The whole affair will only last a few hours, after which the moon and the two planetary “eyes” dip below the horizon. Even if you miss it again, it will still be partially visible for a few more days.

it will take more than 40 years for unpunctual stargazers to see this spectacle again. The two planets won’t meet the moon again so closely until November 2052. In March 2012 however, Venus and Jupiter will be seen together in a similarly bright show in March of 2012.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to be conferred the Malaysian title of ‘Datuk’, akin to the British knighthood, on December 6 and he is expected to receive the honour in traditional Malaysian attire.

The traditional Malaysian black costume with a waistband, a songkok and a black cap is the official attire to receive the award from the Malaccan royal chief, Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob.

The actor will receive his Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka award at a ceremony at 10 a.m. at Dewan Seri Negri, Ayer Keroh, in the presence of 1,000 invited guests, The Star newspaper said Tuesday.

The actor, who was to have received the award Saturday, had to reschedule his trip due to his tight working schedule. He is scheduled to be in Malaysia for three days.

State Secretary Omar Kaseh confirmed that Shah Rukh would be in Malacca for a day.

The actor is immensely popular among Malaysians and had shot the film “One 2 Ka 4″ and a song sequence from his blockbuster “Don” in Malacca.

Shah Rukh’s shoot in Malaysia had benefitted the country immensely, giving it global publicity without any money being spent.

Chandrayaan-I lands on moon on Friday night ..india to be the fourth nation to do this historic milestone after a Moon Impact Probe with the national tri-colour painted successfully landed on the lunar surface .

Joining the US, the Soviet Union and the European Union, the 35-kg Moon Impact Probe hit the moon exactly at 8.31 PM, about 25 minutes after the probe instrument descended from the satellite in what ISRO described as a “perfect operation“.

Miniature Indian flags painted on four sides of the MIP signalled the country’s symbolic entry into moon to coincide with the birth anniversary of the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, observed as Children’s Day.

“It will signify the entry of India on Moon,” an ISRO official said.

During its 20-minute descent to the moon’s surface, MIP took pictures and transmitted them back to the ground. The first pictures are expected to be made public on Saturday.

ISRO officials said Chandrayaan-1 detached the Moon Impact Probe as planned.

US was the first country whose flag adorned the moon and the success of the MIP landing on the earth’s natural satellite is the first hardlanding on the moon in 32 years.

The spacecraft on Friday reached its final orbital home, about 100 kms over the moon surface after ISRO scientists successfully carried out the last critical orbit lowering operation.

India’s IT industry does not need to worry about the current economic downturn as “we have a strong knowledge base” and the established market players here would not be affected. ”We need not worry about the slowdown in the US economy. It is all a temporary phase and very soon, the US dollar will reach a stable position,” said Ganesh Natarajan, chairman of the National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom).

Addressing a chief executives’ meeting here, he said despite the global meltdown, the Indian software business is growing at the rate of 21-24 per cent every year.

He, however, urged the IT industry leaders to look beyond the US market. “Plenty of opportunities are available in Latin America, Japan, China, Europe and also in some African nations,” Natarajan said.

“By 2020, India can alone fulfill the need of technical talent of the whole world. By that time the whole world would need 43 million technocrats while India will have 47 million surplus technocrats,” he said.

According to Natarajan, the estate and retail business would feel the heat of the economic downturn. “But our IT sector is safe and would continue to grow,”

He added that huge investments have to be made to train the available talent.

After installing the rktools.exe setup, locate the Winexit.scr file in the following location.

C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools

Here right click no Winexit.scr file and select the Install option.A Display Properties dialog box will appear, select Screen Saver tab and choose “Logoff Screen Saver” entry under the Screen saver area.

Now click on Setting button, again a small dialog box will appear with the title “WinExit Setup Dialog”.Here select the “Force application termination” check box under the “Force logoff” area. And type the number of seconds in “Countdown for n seconds” box under Time to logoff area.

Now type the message that appears during the logoff countdown timer in the “Logoff Message” box. and click on Ok button.

Click on “Preview” button to verify the settings.
